Aircraft Modification Company Opens Location at Tampa Base
June 27, 2014
Commuter Air Technology (CAT), a company owned by AGC Aerospace & Defense, opened an office at the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, in recent months. The provider engineers aircraft technologies such as flight characteristics enhancements, high-density passenger systems, and cargo conversions. The AGC Aerospace & Defense firm focuses especially on improving and servicing King Air model planes.
The company established its new office for the sole purpose of being closer to the United States Special Operations Command, which is headquartered at the base. CAT posted its director of Latin American business development and special operations forces at the location. From the office, the director can more easily interact with the firm’s Special Operations Command clients, which have become increasingly important to CAT.
CAT’s relationship with military organizations and military families extends beyond its business commitments. It actively seeks out veterans and wounded warriors for executive leadership roles.
